　　No body could deny that writing is one of the basic abilities for men. Put it another way, it is unlikely to imagine human civilization without writing ability.

　　At the top of the list, if we overlook the significance of writing ability, we will suffer a great difficulty in our daily written communication. In addition to what has been mentioned above, it is advisable for us to attach importance to this ability because writing plays a key in our academic performance. To summarize,writing does carry a positive implication for our life and study.

　　In view of the great value of writing ability, we should take actions to develop this capability. For my part, initially, we are supposed to keep in mind that reading is the first step of writing, so we should read great books as many as possible, learning from the great works how to write concisely and effectively. Moreover, owing to the fact that practice makes perfect, we should frequently practice writing; for example, we may develop the habit of keeping a diary.

　　沒有人能夠否認寫作是人類基本技能之一。換言之，如果沒有寫作，我們無法想象人類社會的文明。

　　首先，如果我們不能忽視寫作的重要性，我們就會在日常的書面交流中遭受到極大的困難。除了以上所提及到內容，因為寫作在我們的學業表現中起著重要的作用，所以重視寫作也是明智的。

　　鑒于寫作能力的重要性，我們應該采取措施培養這種能力。在我看來，首先我們要謹記閱讀是寫作的第一步，因此我們應該盡可能多的閱讀名著，從中學習如何進行簡潔而高效的寫作。此外，因為孰能生巧，所以我們應該經常練習寫作，例如，我們可以養成寫日記的習慣。

　　The importance of speaking skill and how to develop it

　　When I need to make a presentation in class, I will feel the importance of speaking ability. For me, I think there are three ways to help myself improve.

　　First, I can read and listen to more things. It can give me more ideas before speaking. Second, I have to choose the right thing to say. Even I have a lot of thoughts, I have to keep on time. Last but not the least, I can use some special skills when I speak. For example, I can ask a question or tell a story before my talk. It will make my speech better.

　　In the end, I think speaking ability is very important. I can use ways like reading and listening to more things, choose my thoughts and practice some skills to develop it.

　　It is always a hot topic that what should a boss focus on more, someone pay their attention to ability, and what they think is "ability is everything" ,but at the same time, some others argue that the opposite one--diploma is more important.

　　In my opinion, different choice should be made on different occasion, in other words, in different situation. If person the boss faced are young men who just graduate from universities, then diploma and how does the man show in university should be think about more, there is an old saying: a man should always be responsible for his job(在其位，謀其政）,as a student ,he has an obligation to do his study well ,and at this point ,a beautiful school report card is great, at least it proves his study ability, which is very essential for the coming days, and because he is so young that he owns the enthusiasm on work, which is also a necessary factor. But if whom the boss faced is a forty old man and just fired a company or be fired by the original corporation , then the boss would think a lot of such things as work ability , experience and so on. Then the diploma would be seen nothing as it is just a history to him.

　　All in all ,both of them are important, of course ,there are some else are also indispensably, to the boss ,before making a choice, think about what he want best, namely, which person he need best is most important.

　　The two graphs show the main sources of energy in the USA in the 1980s and the 1990s.

　　Write a report for a university lecturer describing the changes which occurred.

　　The given pie charts shows data on the main energy sources in the United States of America for two decades. As is presented in the pie charts, oil was the main energy source for the USA both on 80s and 90s.

　　According to the given data, oil was the main energy source in the USA which was 42% in 1980. The second largest energy source in this decade was the natural gas which supplied 26% of total energy in the same period. Then coal supplied more than 20 percent energy demand in USA while hydroelectric power and Nuclear power both supplied 5% of the total energy.

　　In the next decade, the Nuclear power produced one tenth of total energy demand and that was almost double that it was in the previous decade. The hydroelectric power as an energy source remained unchanged as it provided 5% of total energy demand in this decade also. The two other main sources for energy in the USA remained almost unchanged in this decade and those two sources were Coal and Natural Gas. Finally the use of oil as an energy sources reduced to 33%, which is almost 10% less than the previous decade, but remained the largest source albeit the reduction in this 90s decade.

　　In summary, the use of oil and coal had reduced and their places as energy sources were replaced by the use of Nuclear power in the USA.
