拙政園在江蘇蘇州市婁門內。是蘇州四大古名園之一。初為唐代詩人陸龜蒙的住宅，元時為大宏寺。明正德年同御史王獻臣辭職回鄉(xiāng)，買下寺產，改建成宅園，并借用晉代潘岳《嗣居賦》中：“……，此亦拙者之力政也”的語意，取“拙政”二字為園名。1860～1863年曾為太平天國忠王府的一部分。1954年對外開放。
拙政園又分東園、中園、西園三部分。
東園山池相間，點綴有秫香館、蘭雪堂等建筑。西部水面迂回，布局緊湊，依山傍水建以亭閣，其中主體建筑鴛鴦廳是當時園主人宴請賓客和聽曲的場所，廳內陳設考究。晴天由室內透過藍色玻璃窗觀看室外景色猶如一片雪景。園中“與誰同坐軒”乃為扇亭，扇面兩側實墻上開著兩個扇形空窗，一個對著“鴛鴦廳”，而后面面山的那一窗中又正好映入山上的笠亭，而笠亭的頂蓋又恰好配成一個完整的`扇子。“與誰同坐，明月、清風、我”，所以一見匾額，就會想起蘇東坡，并立時感到這里可賞水中之月，可受清風之爽。
