The University has a total campus area of over 538 hectares. It’s like a garden on the water. You can go there by ship/sea. On the island, cars, buses and bikes are not permitted there. It is so quiet that wherever you go, you can hear the sound of playing the piano. As a result of this, it is called “ the island of music”.

In Xiamen I went to a place called Gu Lang Yu. It is a small island with a lot of traditional Fujian culture. People there are mostly isolated from the other places. They are nice and friendly. There is no cheat or theft. The view is beautiful too. I live in the hotel. The hotel workers are very polite. I can feel as home in that hotel. I stay there for three days. If you go to Xiamen I suggest you to Gu Lang Yu for an experience of old town. I love Xiamen.
