學習就是一場戰役，只有你把相應的敵人(指課程)徹底打敗，才算勝利。這場戰爭你可以出奇制勝。也可以按部就班。一步步的走。但最終的結果必須要勝利。學習亦是如此，做為學生，共要在學校呆十幾年的時間，學習做為學生的任務。是必須要完成的。在林林總總的學生中，好學者有之，厭學者更多。為了讓學生學好科學文化知識，任課教師也是在不斷的與學生們在斗智斗勇。想盡在奇招。這不，我們的英語老師宣布了一項命令。
記得那天的第一節英語課，老師就打下了預防針。老師把我們全班分了十二個小組。每天上課檢查課文和單詞的背誦，實際上就是兩個人分別各背一遍，誰背得又快又好，就贏了，加分；輸了，就扣分。另外每人每天都要教聽力條，不交的，扣20分。另外，每學期都要一清分，正分的組，有獎勵。負分的組，需挑一人抄課文。老師剛一說完，全班好象炸開了鍋，議論紛紛：這課還怎么上啊，這制度簡直要人命啊！就是呀，這哪是上課啊！我抗議！不少同學直接提出抗議，結果老師給全班小組都扣了30分，某些同學被罰今晚抄課文，全班同學都傻了。立刻變得鴉雀無聲。
下了課，同學們憤憤不平，可是，又能怎么樣呢？我們班的鬧事大王可是頭一次吃這么打的虧，頭一次遇到這么嚴厲的老師。不少同學在默默背課文，強壓著心里的怒火。
第二天上課上，老師第一件事就是查聽力字條。結果，全班不少小組都吃了啞巴虧，扣分像流水似的。之后老師又檢查課文背誦，有好幾個同學像結巴了一樣，支支吾吾了半天，什么也沒背出來，結果每人被罰抄課文，又扣了20分，只能悻悻離去。同學們一個個大眼瞪小眼，驚恐的看著老師。
就這樣，幾個月下來，全班小組都成了負分，這意味著，全班寒假都要抄課文了。同學們很多都垂頭喪氣，任人宰割。但是還得學習。但有一天，事件終于迎來了轉機。
這天，剛一上課，英語課代表就把手舉得高高的。干什么呀？老師拿書敲了一下桌子，問英語課代表。老師嚴肅的目光又有點讓人害怕，看著課代表。課代表趕緊避開英語老師的目光，說：我要挑戰。剛說完，全班好幾十雙眼睛齊刷刷的瞪著她。她頓了一下，可能是對老師的威嚴有點兒害怕。我要挑戰，她轉過身，指向副課代表老趙。他。這時，全班的目光又投向了老趙。誰？站起來！老師那敏銳的雙眼仔細瞧著每一個同學，老趙還沒起來，老師已經走到他身邊了。老趙站了起來，目光慌亂，低頭看著桌子。這時，老趙的同桌一再給他打氣。小聲說：緊張什么呀？咱們不可能讓女生給比下去。準備好了嗎，那就開始吧。老師的話語中帶著鼓勵。老趙抬起頭來，他的目光與老師的目光相遇了，仿佛擦出了火花。他知道，不比不行了。
