我的故鄉在定海，是一座古城。它三面環山，東臨馬祖列島，是連江一個著名的港灣。曾有“會城重鎮”之威名，而且風景優美。今天，就讓我帶大家一起去看看。
村外，就是一望無際的大海。那兒美不勝收，還時常聽到漁船發動機的聲音。而小朋友們最喜歡的就是到海灘上撿貝殼了，它們顏色不一，大小各不相同，能撿到各種各樣的貝殼。要是你幸運的話，還能撿到乳白色的大蚌，說不定還有珍珠呢。不過要告訴你，撿貝殼最佳時間是下午，因為早上會漲潮的，哈哈。晚上，大海安靜的出奇，似乎也跟我們人一樣安詳地進入夢鄉，為新的一天做準備。
盛夏，驕陽似火，大地都被“烤干”了。不用愁家里沒有空調。來來來，到我們定海的碼頭來吧。只要站在那里，就有一絲絲清涼的海風吹過你的面頰，讓你感到涼爽。而它，那涼爽的海風24小時永不停息地為你服務。
再來看看新村，是我們定海擴建的村子。這可比舊城好多了，新樓林立，賓館酒店隨處可見，各種店鋪到處都是，擺小攤做生意的也是星羅密布，真是熱鬧非凡!
走進那城墻上刻著“會城重鎮”的城門，我們來到了定海舊城。這兒一個通道，那兒一個巷口，就把舊城串的四通八達。我和表弟經常在里面鉆來鉆去，嘻嘻，好像很適合玩躲貓貓的游戲。這里的路和房子都是用石頭砌成的，充滿了古色古香。我最喜歡的，就是清晨時的定海古城。清晨，霧從山谷里升起，穿插在山間的定海古城白茫茫一片，霧把舊城封得嚴嚴實實的。就在這時，太陽升起來了，千萬縷像利劍一樣的金光穿過樹梢，照射在各個巷口的石板路上。知了叫了，鳥兒停在樹梢上唱起歌來，寧靜的定海頓時又熱鬧起來。
這就是我的故鄉，那連江著名的港灣—定海。
