　　Hello, everyone. I’m am a student in No.1 Middle School. I’m very proud that I have been chosen to speak to you all today.How to protect/save our environment/world?

　　The environmental pollution is worse and worse /more and more seriously today. Water is polluted ,we have no clean water to drink Many trees are cutting down, some animals is getting less and less.Some factories is poring dirty air in the sky , the population is increasing faster and faster ,resources is getting less and less…etc. Not only does it affect our lives and health, it also has a great affection in the future.

　　The first fact I worry about is noise pollution. People can"t sleep well if there is too much noise. That"s why so many people prefer to live in the countryside rather than live in the noisy city. I suggest all the factories and cars shouldn"t make terrible noises. If they make terrible noise that isn"t allowed, they will be fined, and we can also produce the cars which can"t make terrible noise.

　　The other pollution is rubbish pollution. If everyone makes so much rubbish, one day we may live in a world filled with rubbish. Some people throw the waste paper about. I suggest rubbish should be put into different kinds of dustbins or paper bags.

One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

　　To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore, governments are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.

　　In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environment intentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down, and waste water is being poured continuously in to rivers. Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.

　　We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. For instance, new laws must be passed to place strict control over industrial pollution, the public must receive the education about the hazard of pollution and soon. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

　　朋友，當你行走在寬闊的道路上，欣賞著綠樹紅花，突然聞到污水的臭味時，你不覺得惡心嗎?當你走在金色的沙灘上，海風吹拂著你，心情無比舒暢時，突然一個塑料袋飛到你的臉上，你不覺得掃興嗎?當你在學習的時候，聽得附近建筑工地的噪聲，你不覺得心情煩躁嗎?我相信每個人都和我一樣會有同樣的感受。

　　一條原本清澈見底。魚蝦成群的河流，如果我們往河里仍垃圾，工廠往里面排放污水，不久就會變成一條骯臟的'河流。我們看到的將是：烏黑的河水冒著油膩膩的泡沫，水面上漂浮著叫不出名的臟物，散發著一股股刺鼻的怪味，河里不再有魚蝦，河邊的柳樹只剩下光禿禿的樹干。

　　人們對地球索取多，保護少。河流在哭泣，森林在吶喊，地球在呼喚。親愛的朋友們，你們聽到了嗎?作為地球的居民，我們不僅要為地球抱怨，還要行動起來，用有效的方式治理地球。
