為了迎接新年，我們學校準備舉行英語趣味競賽。
英語楊老師在班上宣布完這個消息后，其他的同學置若罔聞，我卻心血來潮，想參加這次英語競賽，讓老師對我刮目相看。媽媽也鼓勵我，說這也是個機會，可以嘗試一下。
第二天，我走到楊老師辦公室門口，深呼吸了一下，朝著屋內說：“報，報告！”楊老師抬起頭，看著我笑了笑。我走到他的桌子前，小聲地問道：“楊老師，我…我可以參加這次英語競賽嗎？”我不安地猜想著：名額會不會已經夠了，老師是不是不放心我？結果楊老師不但同意我參加，還給了我許多鼓勵：“王牧虹，你是整個三年級唯一的一個表演講故事的。沒關系，你大膽去準備，不管結果怎樣，重在參于嘛！”
我激動地點了點頭，楊老師又說：“你回家要多練習幾遍，下個星期二正式比賽。”我滿心歡喜地答應了。
回家以后，我選了一個英語小故事——城里老鼠和鄉下老鼠。媽媽還給我買來一對可愛的手偶。我每天晚上在家里練習動作、溫習臺詞。雖然已經把故事內容背得滾瓜爛熟，但是我依然刻苦練習，生怕表演時忘了臺詞，那可就丟人啦！
好不容易到了表演的前一天，楊老師讓我給他表演一遍。我特別緊張，雖然還不是正式表演。我很順利地給楊老師表演了一遍，他說我表演地非常好，準備得也很充分。這些話給了我很大的自信。
演出前，我的心仿佛要跳到嗓子眼了，真的好緊張啊！上臺前，楊老師鼓勵我：“不用緊張，只要表情自然、動作協調、臺詞準確，就ok啦！”他還幫我換衣服——一件漂亮的紗裙，可是，不知怎么了，裙子的拉鏈怎么也拉不上去。這時我更加緊張，沒辦法，只好不穿嘍！楊老師像媽媽一樣溫柔地看著我，真誠地微笑著說：“也沒關系，重點看表演，誰看服裝呢，我看你穿這黑毛衣也非常漂亮！”
我繪聲繪色地給大家講完了故事。表演十分成功，贏得了雷鳴般的掌聲，我心里無比的快樂和輕松。走下來時，楊老師緊緊地抱起了我，那一刻，我仿佛沉入了幸福的海洋……

爸爸媽媽的話給了我勇氣。環保比面子更重要，他們要說我是撿垃圾的就讓他們去說吧!我現在不在乎了。要是一人撿一次垃圾，更多的人就能撿更多的垃圾。那時候的地球一定比現在的地球更干凈，更美麗。
我毫不猶豫地跑過去，把地下的.垃圾全部送回了他們的家(垃圾箱)。這時，周圍的人們向我投來贊許的目光。

我的英語一直不好，每次最怕的就是背單詞、背課文，可是偏偏英語老師要求每個人接龍背課文。這不，又要輪到我背英語課文了。當前面的同學正在背誦的時候，我的心里就像是揣著一只兔子一樣，它不停地在亂蹦亂跳。我絲毫沒有心思去聽他背得對不對，只是翻著書看著自己應該背誦的部分，嘴里念叨著，但是腦袋卻空空的，根本不知道自己在念些什么，大腦如同死機了一樣，不存入任何信息。我緊張極了。“李曉明接著背誦。”老師叫著我的名字，我磨磨蹭蹭地站了起來，腦子里只記得第一句，不出意料，第一句背完之后就再也擠不出一個單詞了。我的雙手緊握著書本，手心里滿是汗水。“This is......”同桌也著急了起來，他將頭貼近桌面，小聲地提醒著我，可是我只聽得清一兩個單詞，此刻我恨不得自己能有雙千里眼，可以看到前面同學的課本。“李曉明，先坐下，課后來我這背誦全文。”老師似乎看透了我完全沒記住課文，雖然叫我坐下了，可是卻給了我一個幾乎不可能完成的任務。我如坐針氈地聽完了一節課，腦袋嗡嗡響。
