It is the third largest city in China and the capital of Guangdong Province,southern China's largest city and key transportation hub and trading port,located on the Pearl River which is navigable to the South China of the 20xx census,the city has a population of 6 million,and an urban area population of roughly million,making it the most populous city in the province and the third most populous metropolitan area in Guangzhou government's official estimate of the city's population at the end of 20xx was 10,334,500,an addition of 152,500 people from last year.

Last week, I have three days off, so I planned to travel to Guangzhou. During the three days, I witnessed so many things, I open my vision and gain the knowledge. The trip to Guangzhou makes me realize that I could go to anywhere by my own.
Before I went to Guangzhou, I made many plans, I searched the Internet, just to make sure that I wouldn’t get lost, because I never went to travel by myself. Going to the strange place, at first, I was very afraid, I tried hard to remember the road, sometimes I dared not to go far away. But I found the way, I realized that every main site would have the subway site, so if I took the metro, I could go back the place nearby
As I got familiar with the road, I went to many sites by the metro, it was so fast and convenient, I could see many sites in a day. Guangzhou is so big, I saw many foreigners, it was full of vitality. The college town is so big and clean, I love it.
The trip to Guangzhou is very precious experience for me, I become independent and broaden my vision.

Guangzhou is the capital and the sub-provincial city of Guangdong Province in the southern part of the People's Republic of China. The city is also known by an older English-language name, Canton. It is a port on the Pearl River, navigable to the South China Sea, and is located about 120km north-west of Hong Kong. As of the 20xx census, the city has a population of 6 million, and a metropolitan population of million,[citation needed] making it the most populous city in the province and the third most populous metropolitan area in China.
With the Guangzhou Metro, opened in 1999, Guangzhou is the fourth city in China to build an underground railway system. Currently there are four lines operational with an ambitious plan to expand rapidly with three lines under construction and four lines that are being planned.
Guangzhou's main airport is the New Baiyun International Airport in Huadu District, that opened on 5 August 20xx replacing old Baiyun International Airport close to the city centre.
