Parents can be more open-minded and trust their children, and the children should understand their parents' pains. If we have spare time after supper, we may often communicate with each other and talk about what happened in the daytime. 　　in the past, each family had a head, who had absolute authority at home, and the final say in family affairs. but now in most chinese families, husband and wife work out household purchases together. in some cases, women have a stronger voice in household purchases, though it is usually the men who foot the bill.
