自從一年級認識他，我們便成了最要好的`朋友。我倆討論時在一起，下課活動時在一起。他住在學校西邊，我住在學校南邊，但是我倆放學都要一起出校門，然后再告別回家。
低年級時，我們用的是鉛筆。他慣用一支很粗的鉛筆，但是他的字卻寫得很好，端正而樸實，濃重而規范，經常受到表揚，我羨慕得不得了。在這粗鉛筆下，他也畫得一手好畫。有一次，他畫了一頭牛，還是用那粗鉛筆。這牛不像西洋素描那樣輕描淡寫，也不像油畫那樣色彩濃艷。而是包涵了一種中國人的樸實，并且栩栩如生。
