We always say that promise is very important, but when it comes to the money, not so many people can keep their promise. I keep my promise all the time, because if I break the promise, my friends won’t trust me anymore. Once, I went to a shop which was near my house, I wanted to deliver the express. When I finished writing the information on the list, I suddenly thought about that I forgot to bring the money. I was worried, so I told the boss, he smiled and said it would be OK to give him the money next time. I was so surprised, he dared to do it, others would think that I would never come back again. When I went home, I kept it in my mind, then I took the money and ran to the shop. I kept my promise to return the money.

How many times I have seen a company or organisation habitually waste good food?! Too many times!
They are well-meaning people and they'd like to give away the food instead of wasting it by putting it in the dustbin.
They'd maybe like to give the food to the needy or the poor and there's probably a few beggars just along the road if anyone was kind enough to go along and see if they are hungry.
So why don't they do it? Reason: Too many stupid rules! Just as surely as there's no pig bin anymore for food to be recycled as pork there's no "well let's give it to the beggars!".
Apparently beggars can in theory take the company to court if they are made ill by the food.
Not that they are seriously going to be made ill by perfectly good food and not that most beggars have the money to start a legal case.

I enjoyed my May Day holiday. We Chinese people celebrated the International Labour Day in different ways. Some of us really enjoyed our holiday vacations, so we went sightseeing and visiting our loved ones. However, other people had to take their duties on this holiday.
For example, the police, firefighters and soldiers were on their duties by keeping us safe throughout the holiday. Hospitals opened during the holiday, so doctors and nurses were on call for taking care of their patients. Services such as tourism, restaurants, shopping malls and super markets were open to the public during the May Day holiday.
We appreciated these hard working people who never stopped delivering great services to their clients and customers throughout the holiday of the First of May. All in all, showing appreciation to hard working people is a significance of celebrating the Labour Day holiday. I liked this May Day holiday very much!
