我的課余生活很豐富，比如：學舞蹈、學英語、彈鋼琴……期中，我最喜歡學英語。
我從幼兒園就開始學習英語了。剛開始學習時只是因為上英語課的時候，能和小朋友一起玩游戲、唱英語歌曲，覺得非常有趣，所以才走進這個英語學習班。隨著學習內容的.深入，學習時間的增加，我也曾有過放棄學習英語的念頭，甚至還為這件事哭過鼻子。但是，當我想起“持之以恒”的故事時，我覺得自己克服困難，繼續堅持下去。
媽媽很贊同我的做法。為此，還表揚了我。
去年，我參加了“人教派斯杯”全國少年兒童英語風采大賽。當我順利地通過初賽的時候，全家都為我感到高興。當我通過復賽，獲得了到北京參加決賽的機會時，全家人更為我歡呼。
去年暑假，我和爸爸媽媽一起開開心心去北京參加比賽，雖然我只拿到了一個“優秀獎”，但是媽媽鼓勵我說比賽重在參與。

同學們開始分別做自我介紹了，他們一個接一個走上講臺用英語流利的介紹著自己的家庭情況、興趣和愛好。他們表現的棒極了。這時我多么希望老師快點念到我的名字呀。我的機會終于來了，我和潘月紅開始表演話劇《做客》，我們用英語你一言我一語的對答如流。表演完了，臺下爆發出雷鳴般的掌聲。這時我想這一學期的努力終于得到了回報。就這樣我們的表演進行著，一個個節目精彩紛呈。時間過的真快呀，不知不覺下課鈴響了。老師說：“同學們表現的都很棒，希望下學期繼續努力。”
