My grandpa is a retired worker. On summer evenings, we often sat together outside the house enjoying the cool air. It was the time that he told me lots of his experiences before liberation, some of which I've forgotten, but there is one I'll remember forever.
When my grandpa was fourteen years old, he worked in a coal mine. One day, when he and his two workmates were working in the tunnel an unfortunate thing suddenly happened. A part of the tunnel fell down, and they were shut in it. They had no food to eat. When they were hungry they only drank some water there. It was very cold in it. I order to keep warm they hugged one another. In the darkness, they didn't know whether it was day or night, they only felt they had stayed there for a very long time. They were too hungry to speak or move, and thought they would die. At last, the tunnel was dug through. They were saved. They had been there for fourteen days!
My grandpa said they had not been let out at once. If so, they would have died. They were kept at the entrance to the tunnel where it was very dim, and they were fed with some thin porridge. After a day or two, they had recovered a bit, and they were helped out.
After liberation, my grandpa worked very hard, and he was elected as an advanced worker every year. He is also a people representative of our city. He is loved and respected by everyone who knows him, and he lives the rest of his life happily.

Corruption cases seriously damage efforts to build a clean and honest government, undoubtedly dampen(潑冷水，挫傷) people＇s enthusiasm(熱情) and heavily affect stability(穩定).
In the future, to cement (鞏固) the fruits that reform has borne, an even greater effort is needed in the battle against corrupt behaviour. Governments at all levels should take more effective measures to combat corruption. Laws already in effect must be strictly enforced (執行). The implementation (實施) of anti corruption programs should target every part of China.Anti corruption agencies should intensify crackdown (增強打擊力度) on bribery, attach greater importance to the anti corruption campaign.

Nowadays, some discussions about the children's education and management have raised the whole social concern. It seems not only about children's personal development, but also about the whole country's future.

There are two main views in debate, which of them is that children should obey the rules set by parents and teachers. The other is that less control will help children to deal with their future adult life.

As for the former, the advantages of it seem to be very apparent, which of them is that children can make a distinction between right and wrong things. Moreover, children need more freedom to realize their dreams. Only in this way can the problem be solved perfectly. 結合兩者來看，我認為父母和老師應該指導孩子們在某些行為上遵守最基本的紀律。再則，孩子們應獲得更多自由去實現夢想。我想這樣就能圓滿解決這事了。
In conclusion, we can't only support one side simply. On the contrary, we ought to choose different measures to educate children flexibly.

As the crowd of people grew outside at seven-thirty, my excitement grew, too. Some people wore fancy clothes, but most people wore clean, comfortable ones. In the hall we were seated close to the musicians below the stage.
They played exceptionally well. And when the singing started, we lost track of the time and place. The costumes and stage settings, and the music and singing were beautiful. The program lasted three memorable hours.
