　　Elephant is the largest animal on land today. It weights some ninety kilograms and is about one metre high when born. When it is 12 years old, it studs over three meters and does not grow any more. Elephant is usually grey in color, having a long trunk with large ivory tusks protruding from each side of its mouth. Usually moving in groups and caring for each other, Elephant is know to be a very and gentle creamre.

　　你認識我嗎?我叫鄭海添，我有一雙水靈靈的大眼睛很惹有喜愛，但美中不足的是：鼻子有點塌。人家都說薄嘴唇的人能說會道，我天生就是厚嘴唇，可此薄唇的人還能說。我還連續兩次得過全縣小學生演講比賽第一名呢！我有優點，也有缺點。先來說我的缺點。我雖然能說會道，可是也給我帶來一些苦惱。有一次，老師正在分析《鯨》這一課，這時，我想起了前年在青島水族館見到鯨的標本就坐不住了，我顧不上聽老師講課，想把有關鯨的知識告訴同桌。在老師轉過身去寫字的時候，我的話就一句一句的向同桌“迸射”老師轉過身來發現了，對我投來了不滿的目光，還是那句話：“老毛病，就是改不掉。”就為這，爸爸媽媽經常責備我。說起這些，你會覺得我是一個不聽話的孩子，但一說到優點，你們又會眉開眼笑了。看，上課搶著舉手回答間題，每次考試都是前幾名，作業干凈工整，勞動積極，幫助家長干家務等等。你也許會覺得我的缺點和優點是那么不相稱吧！再來說我的性格和愛好，我性格幽默、活潑，常常說一些相聲逗同學們笑。周會課上，我也經常講一些故事給同學們聽。當然這些都歸于我最親密的伙伴——書。我愛好看書，一看起書來就什么也不顧了。瞧，那個坐在椅子上看書的小男孩就是我。“兒子”——準是爸爸在喊我了。我的精神都集中在書上，哪兒會聽見爸爸喊呢。怪不得爸爸說我的腦細胞是直的。就是我的性格和愛好。你們現在了解我了吧？我是一個又聰明又調皮還有點驕傲的孩子，人的看法呢？
