承代溝的客觀存在，心平氣和地對待代溝，這樣不僅有助于自己，也有益于他人。
代溝往往是心理認識的偏差導致的。人們選擇信息角度的不同，決定了有人著眼于變化和差異，有人著眼于不變和相似。所以人們不能接受上代或下代與自己這一代人的差異，往往與知性的選擇性有關。
