聽磁帶，是糾正我們英語發音的一個重要途徑。每天模仿磁帶里的語音和口吻讀，久而久之就會成為一種習慣。有了標準的讀音，就不會再為音標題而發愁了。
閱讀也是必不可少的一部分，英語書籍、英語雜志、英語小文，都是很好的英語閱讀的選擇。這樣做，既可以開闊視野、增長見識，讓我了解更多外國的風俗和習性。更可以學習到更多的英語單詞。讀得多了，我在對英語的閱讀理解上也會有很大的提高。讓英語水平步步高升。
