任何事物都有兩面性，都是對立的兩個方面的統(tǒng)一。人類最劣根性的缺陷--懶惰--也有其積極的一面，那就是刺激技術進步。懶惰常常是技術進步的第一推動力。這不由得你不信�？纯醇夹g進步的歷史吧，哪一項不是人為了省力省時而進行的？
Everything has two sides, is an opposition of two aspects. Man's worst instincts of defects—laziness--have its positive side that is to stimulate technical progress. Laziness is the first cause of technical progress. Its correctness inclines everybody to trust it. 不想到處狩獵，人們把活捉的動物圈養(yǎng)起來，于是有了畜牧業(yè)，一些野鳥野獸逐漸變成了人們的家畜；不想上樹摘果，人們于是將五谷的種子帶回來，種在居住區(qū)周圍，于是有了農業(yè)，不用翻山越嶺便能五谷豐登坐享其成；天冷了不想到處找吃的，人們便形成了儲存糧食的習慣.為了避免抄寫之苦，古人發(fā)明了印刷術；為了省力，人們發(fā)明了杠桿；人們首先是發(fā)現(xiàn)走路費腳，于是發(fā)明了木屐，木屐太硬，打腳，又發(fā)明了襪子。

However, wooden clogs were so hard that hurt feet, then socks were invented.
鞋襪都有了，人們還是懶惰，于是發(fā)明了驢車，繼而又發(fā)明了牛車、馬車、自行車、電車、摩托車、汽車、火車、飛機、火箭;逛街太累，于是有了網上購物，淘寶逐漸成為大家生活中必不可少的東西；為了減少家務的勞累，人們制作了千奇百怪的實用小家電；為了遠途傳遞音信不再騎馬日夜兼程，人們發(fā)明了電報、電話及至今天的電腦網絡；為了降低搬運工的勞動強度，人們制造了鏟車、吊車；為了提運省力，人們發(fā)明了滑輪技術；為了不重復簡單的還是復雜的勞動，人們把成功的經驗提煉概括為技術規(guī)范、標準還有制度；等等。

因此，從一定意義上說，是“懶惰”逼使人們頭腦中產生那么多偷懶的想法，這些想法一旦成為現(xiàn)實，一項新的`技術便宣告誕生。所以應該肯定懶惰的功績，沒有偷懶的想法，便沒有技術的進步!
