　　劇情簡介：

　　卡洛琳是一個只有十幾歲大的小女孩，正如這個年紀(jì)的其他孩子一樣，卡洛琳對身邊的一切都充滿了童趣一般的好奇心。因為種種原因，她的父母決定舉家搬遷到另外一個小鎮(zhèn)居住，搬家對于大人來說是一份相當(dāng)繁瑣和累人的工作，但對于小小的卡洛琳卻是相當(dāng)有意思的一次經(jīng)歷。同樣的，這個全新入住的小鎮(zhèn)對于大人來說是相當(dāng)?shù)年幱艉驮幃�，但這一切在卡洛琳的眼中都是那樣的有趣，不論是訓(xùn)練了一個老鼠馬戲團(tuán)的老爺爺，還是整天吵架的怪異姐妹，都成了她探索的對象。但最神奇的事情還不是這些，卡洛琳發(fā)現(xiàn)在這棟老房子里有一個驚天的大秘密！原先她曾經(jīng)數(shù)過家里的門，數(shù)字停留在13這個最不吉利的數(shù)字上。而神奇的是，原來在客廳里還有一道誰也沒發(fā)現(xiàn)的門。這道門后面通向哪里呢？卡洛琳絕對是個行動派，所以她便走進(jìn)了這扇大門。

　　原來在這扇門的后面是一個與真實世界一模一樣的“鏡像世界”。這個世界雖然有點詭異，但卻非常有趣，而且更重要的是，在這里竟然還有一個“媽媽”。這個“媽媽”對卡洛琳也很和善，只不過她有著一雙紐扣眼睛。當(dāng)然，這個看上去很和藹的媽媽并不是真的好。她不但綁架了卡洛林真正的父母，她更試圖縫上卡洛琳的眼睛把她永遠(yuǎn)地留在這個世界中。不過卡洛琳沒有束手就擒，一場人魔大戰(zhàn)又要開始了。
